1. A user equipment (UE) device comprising:
one or more processors; and
memory storing instructions that when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
determining, by the UE device, a plurality of first network resources that have been activated for exchanging data between the UE device and one or more second devices via a wireless network;
determining, by the UE device, and for each of the first network resources, a time duration of a respective burst transmission performed using that first network resource;
determining, by the UE device, and based on the time durations, whether to execute at least one of:
(i) activating one or more second network resources for exchanging data between the UE device and the one or more second devices via the wireless network, or
(ii) deactivating one or more of the first network resources for exchanging data between the UE device and the one or more second devices via the wireless network; and
at least one of activating the one or more second network resources or deactivating the one or more of the first network resources for exchanging data between the UE device and the one or more second devices via the wireless network.
