1. A device, comprising:
one or more processors configured to:
identify a first network slice with which a plurality of communication sessions, between a plurality of User Equipment (“UEs”) and a core network, are associated;
determine that a quantity of communication sessions, associated with the first network slice, exceeds a threshold quantity of communication sessions;
select one or more communication sessions, of the plurality of communication sessions;
identify a second network slice with which the selected one or more communication sessions should be associated; and
output an indication to a session control element associated with the core network, wherein the indication includes an identifier of the second network slice, wherein the session control element causes the selected one or more communication sessions to be moved from the first network slice to the second network slice based on receiving the indication.
