1. An apparatus comprising:
at least one processor; and
at least one memory including computer program code,
the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus to perform at least the following:
detect, based at least in part on a measure of a quality of seal between an earphone device and a user's ear, a condition corresponding to the earphone device becoming disengaged from the user's ear;
operate said earphone device in an adjustment mode based on the detection of the condition, wherein, in the adjustment mode, an operation associated with a touch sensor on said earphone device is changed; and
detect a re-engaged condition corresponding to said earphone device becoming re-engaged with the user's ear.
