1. A system to facilitate adaptive beamforming in a cellular network, the system comprising:
one or more processing devices; and
memory communicatively coupled with and readable by the one or more processing devices and having stored therein machine-readable instructions which, when executed by the one or more processing devices, cause the one or more processing devices to perform operations comprising:
prompting a first set of user equipment to communicate one or more signals indicative of a network state to a first set of one or more radio units, wherein the one or more signals indicative of the network state indicate one or more of: network and/or user equipment performance; interference experienced by the first set of user equipment; changes in network access by the first set of user equipment; network usage by the first set of user equipment; or travel of the first set of user equipment away from one cellular site and toward another cellular site;
determining a first set of beamforming specifications based at least in part on the one or more signals indicative of the network state from the first set of user equipment, the first set of beamforming specifications corresponding to a first set of one or more beamforming patterns; and
communicating the first set of beamforming specifications to instruct the first set of one or more radio units to direct signal transmission in conformance with one or more directionalities and one or more signal strengths corresponding to the first set of one or more beamforming patterns.
