1. Functional module for an electrical connection enclosure comprising one or more monitoring-and-control units, wherein:
all of the monitoring-and-control units of the functional module are configured to be connected to a communication module;
the functional module further comprises a segment of computer bus;
the segment of computer bus is configured to connect all of the monitoring-and-control units to the communication module;
each monitoring-and-control unit is configured to allow the connection and potentially the driving and/or the surveillance of an electrical load and to be controlled by the communication module;
the segment of computer bus further comprises memory blocks, each memory block being configured to be associated with a monitoring-and-control unit; and
each memory block is configured to store information relating to the type of the monitoring-and-control unit associated with the memory block and/or operating parameters of the monitoring-and-control unit associated with the memory block and/or information on the electrical load connected to said monitoring-and-control unit,
wherein the functional module further comprises one or more input-output modules, each input-output module being associated with a monitoring-and-control unit and configured to:
connect the segment of computer bus to a monitoring-and-control unit and to the electrical load connected to this monitoring-and-control unit, and
allow the exchange of data between this monitoring-and-control unit and the electrical load,
and wherein each memory block is configured to store information regarding an input-output module associated with the monitoring-and-control unit associated with the memory block.
