1. A multilayer ceramic capacitor comprising:
a multilayer body including:
a plurality of ceramic layers laminated therein;
a first main surface and a second main surface opposed to each other in a height direction;
a first side surface and a second side surface opposed to each other in a width direction orthogonal or substantially orthogonal to the height direction;
a first end surface and a second end surface opposed to each other in a length direction orthogonal or substantially orthogonal to the height direction and the width direction;
first internal electrode layers alternately laminated with the plurality of ceramic layers and exposed at the first end surface; and
second internal electrode layers alternately laminated with the plurality of ceramic layers and exposed at the second end surface;
a first external electrode on the first end surface; and
a second external electrode on the second end surface; wherein
a number of the first internal electrodes and the second internal electrodes which are connected to either of the first external electrode and the second external electrode in a cross section in the length direction and the height direction at a middle portion in the width direction is larger than a number of the first internal electrodes and the second internal electrodes which are not connected to either of the first external electrode and the second external electrode.
