1. A method, comprising:
enabling a face detection function when a display screen of an electronic device is in an off-screen state and obtaining image data through a front camera;
displaying an off-screen display interface on the display screen of the electronic device when the image data comprises a part of or an entirety of a face image; and
maintaining the off-screen state on the display screen of the electronic device when the image data does not comprise a part of or the entirety of a face image.
