1. A firmware upgrade method comprising:
inquiring, by a network storage, about a latest firmware version for the network storage from a firmware upgrade platform through a network via a network interface of the network storage; and
based on the latest firmware version being inconsistent with a current firmware version of the network storage, downloading, by the network storage, the latest firmware version from the firmware upgrade platform through the network via the network interface and performing a firmware upgrade based on the latest firmware version.
