1. An apparatus, comprising:
an array of memory cells;
a controller coupled to the array, wherein the controller is configured to:
output a safety token associated with a first number of data values stored by a first page in a first row of the array to indicate that an interruption of energy has not occurred prior to the completion of storing a second number of data values to fill each page of the first row of the array and storing a third number of data values by a first page in a second row of the array; and
receive a command from a host to write a fourth number of data values to the array in response to outputting the safety token.
