1. An electronic device, having an optical modulation region and a non-optical modulation region and comprising:
a first substrate;
a first transparent electrode layer, disposed on the first substrate; and
a second transparent electrode layer, disposed on the first transparent electrode layer and having an opening, wherein the optical modulation region overlaps the opening, the non-optical modulation region overlaps the first transparent electrode layer and the second transparent electrode layer, and a cell gap of the optical modulation region is greater than a cell gap of the non-optical modulation region,
wherein the first substrate has a first thickness in the optical modulation region, the first substrate has a second thickness in the non-optical modulation region, and the first thickness is less than the second thickness.
