1. A method for controlling undesired vegetation at a plant cultivation site, the method comprising the steps of:
a) providing, at said site, a plant that comprises a nucleic acid encoding a protoporphyrinogen oxidase (PPO), wherein expression of the nucleic acid in the plant results in increased tolerance to 1,5-dimethyl-6-thioxo-3-(2,2,7-trifluoro-3-oxo-4-(prop-2-ynyl)-3,4-dihydro-2H-benzo[b][1,4]oxazin-6-yl)-1,3,5-triazinane-2,4-dione as compared to a wild type control plant, and wherein the encoded PPO comprises the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 184; and
b) applying to said site an effective amount of 1,5-dimethyl-6-thioxo-3-(2,2,7-trifluoro-3-oxo-4-(prop-2-ynyl)-3,4-dihydro-2H-benzo[b][1,4]oxazin-6-yl)-1,3,5-triazinane-2,4-dione.
