1. A method for improving water flow through soil and/or improving aeration of soil wherein said method comprises applying to the soil a microbe-based product comprising microbes, a broth in which said microbes were grown, and a biosurfactant produced by said microbes; wherein said method further comprises growing the microbes in a microbe growth facility, harvesting said microbes, said broth and said biosurfactant; creating the microbe-based product comprising the harvested microbes, broth and biosurfactant; transporting the microbe-based product to a location for use; and applying the product to the soil;
wherein the biosurfactant is selected from the group consisting of rhamnolipids, sophorolipids (SLP) and mannosylerythritol lipids (MEL); and
wherein said microbes are selected from the group consisting of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Starmerella bombicola, Pichia anomala, Wickerhamomyces anomalus, Trichoderma harzianum, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, Bacillus subtilis, and Pseudozyma aphidis.
