1. An apparatus for computer assisted or autonomous driving, comprising:
a sensor interface to receive, from sensors disposed on a vehicle, sensor data indicative of friction between a road surface of a current location of the vehicle and at least one tire of the vehicle, the sensor data including (i) information captured by at least one camera that shows conditions between the road surface and a surface of a respective tire which indicate low friction, and (ii) information captured by at least one tire sensor that measures friction between the road surface and the surface of the respective tire; and
processing circuitry operably coupled to the sensor interface, the processing circuitry to:
detect, based on the information captured by the at least one camera and the information captured by the at least one tire sensor, a potential hydroplaning condition caused by water on the road surface; and
provide a notification, in response to detection of the potential hydroplaning condition, to adjust vehicle operations based on the current location of the vehicle.

8. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium capable of storing instructions that, when executed, cause at least one processing device of a vehicle system to:
receive, from sensors disposed on a vehicle, sensor data indicative of friction between a road surface of a current location of the vehicle and at least one tire of the vehicle, the sensor data including (i) information captured by at least one camera that shows conditions between the road surface and a surface of a respective tire which indicate low friction and (ii) information captured by at least one tire sensor that measures friction between the road surface and the surface of the respective tire;
detect, based on the information captured by the at least one camera and the information captured by the at least one tire sensor, a potential hydroplaning condition caused by water on the road surface; and
provide a notification, in response to detection of the potential hydroplaning condition, to adjust vehicle operations based on the current location of the vehicle.

15. An apparatus for a vehicle, comprising:
means for obtaining, from sensors disposed on a vehicle, sensor data indicative of friction between a road surface of a current location of the vehicle and at least one tire of the vehicle, the sensor data including (i) information captured by at least one camera that shows conditions between the road surface and a surface of a respective tire which indicate low friction and (ii) information captured by at least one tire sensor that measures friction between the road surface and the surface of the respective tire;
means for detecting, based on the information captured by the at least one camera and the information captured by the at least one tire sensor, a potential hydroplaning condition caused by water on the road surface; and
means for outputting a notification, in response to detection of the potential hydroplaning condition, to adjust vehicle operations based on the current location of the vehicle.
