1. A method for making a tool housing, wherein the tool housing includes an upper housing portion adapted to receive a tool head, a middle housing portion having first and second ends, and a lower housing portion that is adapted to be coupled to a main body of a tool, the method comprising:
creating a rim on the upper housing portion;
creating a collar on the first end of the middle housing portion and an opening in the second end of the middle housing portion, wherein the opening has threads disposed on an internal surface of the opening;
assembling the upper housing portion to the middle housing portion by aligning the collar of the middle housing portion with the rim of the upper housing portion and coupling the rim of the upper housing portion to the collar of the middle housing portion;
threadably coupling the lower housing portion to the opening of the middle housing portion; and
creating at least one of a cut out and a slot in the lower housing portion after threadably coupling the lower housing portion to the opening, wherein the at least one of the cut out and the slot is adapted to be disposed in the main body of the tool when the lower housing portion is coupled to the main body of the tool.
