1. A method of controlling viewing of an ultrasound image feed being acquired by an ultrasound acquisition unit, the method comprising:
providing a user interface on an electronic display unit communicably coupled to the ultrasound acquisition unit, the user interface comprising the ultrasound image feed and a control for modifying imaging depth of the ultrasound image feed, wherein the ultrasound acquisition unit operates using a plurality of presets, and each of the plurality of presets comprises a pre-determined set of parameters;
receiving an input via the control for modifying the imaging depth of the ultrasound image feed, wherein the input modifies the imaging depth to one of a shallow depth or a deep depth; and
upon receipt of the input, and without receipt of additional user input:
determining whether the input modifies the image depth as the shallow depth or the deep depth;
based on determination, automatically selecting the preset of the ultrasound image feed from the plurality of presets.
