1. An ultrasound catheter assembly, comprising:
a flexible elongate shaft including a distal portion and a proximal portion, wherein the flexible elongate shaft is configured for insertion into a patient body;
an imaging sensor mounted on the distal portion of the flexible elongate shaft;
an electrical cable in communication with the imaging sensor;
a plurality of pullwire segments configured to position the imaging sensor within the patient body; and
a control handle coupled to the proximal portion of the flexible elongate shaft, wherein the control handle includes:
a handheld housing having an elongate shape and an inner surface;
an actuator disposed within the handheld housing and coupled to the plurality of pullwire segments; and
a routing member disposed within the handheld housing, wherein the routing member extends from the inner surface into an interior of the handheld housing, wherein the electrical cable comprises:
a first length extending distal of the handheld housing and within the flexible elongate shaft; and
a second length extending within the handheld housing, and
wherein the routing member is configured to direct the second length of the electrical cable to be disposed:
along a periphery of the interior of the handheld housing between the inner surface and the routing member; and
away from the plurality of pullwire segments disposed within a center of the interior of the handheld housing.
