1. A medical system, comprising:
a display;
a console comprising a plurality of ports configured to be coupled with catheters via respective cables, each of the catheters having respective first electrical channel profiles, each of the plurality of ports having respective second electrical channel profiles; and
a processing circuitry configured to:
receive user input selecting ones of the catheters to be used in a medical procedure;
define a connection configuration with which to couple the ones of the catheters to ones of the plurality of ports, wherein the connection configuration defines at which of the plurality of ports each of the ones of the catheters are to be coupled;
select ones of the respective cables as required by the connection configuration, responsively to the respective first electrical channel profiles of ones of the catheters and the respective second electrical channel profiles of ones of the plurality of ports; and
render the connection configuration and the ones of the respective cables selected to the display.
