1. An alignment and fixation system comprising:
an alignment and fixation device including a surface adapted to be placed against a foot, a first hole, a second hole, and a third hole;
a first pin placed through the first hole to secure the alignment and fixation device to a first portion of the foot;
a second pin placed through the second hole to secure the alignment and fixation device to a second portion of the foot;
an adjustment device attached to the alignment and fixation device, the adjustment device for adjusting the bone from a misaligned position to an aligned position; and
a first fastener sized and shaped to be passed completely through the third hole to
secure the bone in the aligned position, the first fastener including a head and a shaft,
wherein the third hole is larger than the first and second holes.
