1. A surgical instrument comprising:
a first member extending along a longitudinal axis between opposite proximal and distal ends, the distal end including a cavity and a slot;
a second member coupled to the first member;
a cutting element having a proximal end and an opposite distal end disposed in the cavity; and
a pin positioned in the slot and connected to the second member and the cutting element,
wherein the second member is configured to translate relative to the first member along the longitudinal axis to translate the pin along the slot such that the cutting element rotates about a pivot axis defined by the pin.
