1. A wine bottle holder comprising:
a mounting plate;
an extension member coupled to the mounting plate and extending outwards therefrom; and
a ring coupled to the extension member and configured to receive a portion of a wine bottle therethrough, the ring being an oblique segment of a right cylinder and comprising an inner cylindrical surface, an outer cylindrical surface, and a pair of end surfaces that are opposite of and parallel to each other, the inner cylindrical surface and the outer cylindrical surface being coaxial about a central axis, the pair of end surfaces being non-perpendicular with respect to the inner cylindrical surface,
wherein the mounting plate lies in a plane, and wherein the central axis is parallel to the plane.
