1. An in-vehicle monitoring device for a vehicle, comprising:
a first camera module configured to perform first imaging to capture a first image of one or more occupants in a passenger compartment of the vehicle;
a second camera module configured perform second imaging to capture a second image of the one or more occupants; and
a controller configured to execute a monitoring process on the first image and the second image, wherein:
the first camera module and the second camera module are disposed in a center position of the vehicle in a vehicle width direction of the vehicle so as to be arranged side-by-side in the vehicle width direction of the vehicle such that at least a portion of an imaging range of the first camera module and at least a portion of an imaging range of the second camera module overlap, and the first camera module is located on another side of the second camera module with respect to a center position of the vehicle in the width direction,
the first camera module is configured to perform the first imaging at a narrow angle such that the first image includes an upper body or a head of a driver who drives the vehicle and is configured to perform the first imaging at a first timing repeated per a first interval,
the second camera module is configured to perform the second imaging such that the second image includes an inside of the passenger compartment at a wide angle and is configured to perform the second imaging at a second timing repeated per a second interval that is an integer multiple of the first interval,
the second timing is synchronized with the first timing,
the in-vehicle monitoring device further comprises:
a first light projection member configured to project light to the imaging range of the first camera module at the first timing; and
a second light projection member configured to project light to the imaging range of the second camera module at the second timing,
the first light projection member is configured to output a first amount of light at a third timing at which the first timing is synchronized with the second timing, and output a second amount of light larger than the first amount of light at a fourth timing which is other than the third timing of the first timing, and
the second light projection member is configured to output a third amount of light smaller than the second amount of light at the second timing.
