1. A method of obtaining an enhanced fluorescence medical image of a subject, comprising:
receiving a fluorescence medical image of the subject;
providing the fluorescence medical image to a generator of a trained generative adversarial network (GAN) model trained using a first set of white light images associated with a first light level and a second set of white light images associated with a second light level, the second light level higher than the first light level; and
obtaining, from the generator, the enhanced fluorescence medical image of the subject wherein one or more anatomical structures in a field of view of the fluorescence medical image are clearer in the enhanced fluorescence medical image.
