1. A system for controlling task execution on a computing tile of a multi-tiled integrated circuit, the computing tile comprising:
an on-tile work queue that:
(i) stores task instructions comprising distinct fixed-length programmations;
(ii) regulates a transmission of each of the distinct fixed-length programmations to one or more task-performing circuits based on a token-induced signal that indicates to the on-tile work queue that all task-related prerequisites or all task-related dependencies for a target task have been satisfied; and
(iii) transmits one or more distinct fixed-length programmations to the one or more task-performing circuits based on the on-tile work queue identifying the token-induced signal,
wherein:
the computing tile is arranged among a plurality of computing tiles on a mixed-signal integrated circuit; and
each of the plurality of computing tiles includes: (a) a distinct token-informed scheduler, or (b) a distinct on-tile work queue.
