1. A method of forming a wiring on a base member using gravure printing, the method comprising:
providing a gravure plate, on which an X direction and a Y direction are defined as perpendicular to each other, the gravure plate having an intaglio pattern including portions for a first wiring element, a surplus wavy line, a wavy line, and a second wiring element, the wavy line and the surplus wavy line both extending along the Y direction, the first wiring element the surplus wavy line, the wavy line and the second wiring element being arranged in the X direction in an order named such that the first wiring element is located at one side in the X direction of the surplus wavy line, the surplus wavy line is located at the one side in the X direction of the wavy line, and the wavy line is located at the one side in the X direction of the second wiring element, wherein therein the surplus wavy line is separated by a distance from the first wiring element in the X direction, the wavy line is adjacent to the surplus wavy line in the X direction, the second wiring element is adjacent to and separated by another distance from the wavy line in the X direction, and wherein the surplus wavy line is connected to the wavy line;
filling the intaglio pattern with electrically-conductive ink using a doctor blade, wherein the doctor blade, an edge of which extends in the Y direction, is slid in the X direction on the gravure plate, in such a manner that the surplus wavy line is positioned immediately downstream of but separated by the distance from the first wiring element, the wavy line is positioned immediately downstream of the surplus wavy line, and the second wiring element is positioned immediately downstream of the wavy line;
transferring the electrically-conductive ink from the intaglio pattern of the gravure plate onto the base member; and
curing the electrically-conductive ink on the base member to form the wiring which includes the wavy line, the first wiring element, the second wiring element, and the surplus wavy line that has a same potential as the wavy line, wherein
the first wiring element is an electrode made up of thin-line meshes or a wiring line made up of thin-line meshes, and
at least one of the wavy line and the surplus wavy line includes a bending portion located at another side thereof in the X direction, the another side being opposite to the one side in the X direction, the bending portion protrudes in the X direction, and the bending portion has an apex that is cut.
