1. A non-transient computer readable medium comprising a plurality of programmatic instructions that, when executed:
accesses a library of events;
receives an identification of at least one event from said library of events;
receives a time of occurrence of said at least one event;
accesses a library of items, wherein each item is representative of a physical prop;
receives an identification of at least one item from said library of items;
assigns said at least one event and the time of occurrence to at least one actuator on the at least one item;
sets attributes of feedback associated with the at least one actuator; and
activates the at least one actuator in accordance with the at least one event and the time of occurrence.
