1. A method for producing hydrogen gas, the method comprising:
providing a plurality of tablet compositions, each tablet composition comprising hydrogen active metallic particles and an effervescent agent pressed together to form the tablet composition, the hydrogen active metallic particles comprising one or more hydrogen active metallic particles including a metal selected from the group consisting of magnesium (Mg), aluminum (Al), zinc (Zn), iron (Fe), nickel (Ni), tin (Sn), lead (Pb), chromium (Cr), lithium (Li), rubidium (Rb), and cesium (Cs) or hybrid hydrogen active metallic particles;
vertically placing the plurality of the tablet compositions in a tablet container to obtain a vertical column of the plurality of the tablet compositions; and
injecting water in a bottom of the tablet container causing a first bottom tablet composition in the vertical column of the plurality of the tablet compositions to chemically react with the water until it fully dissolves, thereby simultaneously producing hydrogen gas and an aqueous suspension of single or hybrid metal particles.
