1. A hydraulic assembly comprising:
a hydraulic hose having an end section that terminates at an open end, the end section formed from a volume of material, the end section comprising:
a first length of hose having a first outer diameter;
a flange adjoining the first length of hose, the flange formed in the volume of material, the flange having a second outer diameter; and
a second length of hose adjoining the flange and terminating at the open end, the second length of hose having a third outer diameter;
an annular gasket threaded onto the second length of hose adjacent to the flange, and between the flange and the open end of the hydraulic hose, wherein the second outer diameter is greater than the first outer diameter and the third outer diameter; and
a body having a first port and a second port. and an axial bore extending therebetween. a length of the hydraulic hose inserted into the axial bore through the first port. the length of the hydraulic hose being less than a distance along the axial bore between the first port and the second port.
