1. A method of forming a polymeric article, comprising:
providing a polymer composition comprising
a crystallizable polymer in an amount from about 50 wt-% to about 85 wt-% based on a total weight of the polymer composition,
a mineral filler in an amount from about 15 wt-% to about 50 wt-% based on the total weight of the polymer composition, and
an impact modifier in an amount from about 0.5 wt-% to about 15 wt-% based on the total weight of the polymer composition,
the crystallizable polymer having a crystallization temperature;
heating the polymer composition to a molten state; and
injection molding the polymer composition into a polymeric article without crystallization, wherein the injection molding includes:
disposing the polymer composition in a mold at a mold temperature below the crystallization temperature of the crystallizable polymer,
forming the polymer composition into the polymeric article within the mold with the mold temperature below the crystallization temperature of the crystallizable polymer; and
releasing the polymeric article from the mold;
wherein the polymeric article is a container thermally stable up to a temperature of at least about 450° F. for a duration of at least up to three minutes.
