1. An aerosol delivery device, comprising:
an electrical power source;
a pocket defined by a container or body of the aerosol delivery device or a component engaged with the container or body, the pocket being configured to receive a substrate including an aerosol precursor composition;
an atomizer including an induction receiver surrounding but out of direct contact with the substrate when received by the pocket; and
a wireless power transmitter including an induction transmitter surrounding but out of direct contact with the induction receiver, the induction transmitter configured to receive electrical current from the electrical power source that causes the induction transmitter to generate an oscillating magnetic field, and the induction receiver configured to generate heat via eddy currents induced at the induction receiver when exposed to the oscillating magnetic field and thereby heat the aerosol precursor composition to produce an aerosol.
