1. An additive for a mushroom growth medium, the additive comprising:
an aluminum compound;
a calcium compound; and
a magnesium compound, wherein
a mixing proportion of the aluminum compound, a mixing proportion of the calcium compound, and a mixing proportion of the magnesium compound in terms of oxides of Al2O3, CaO, and MgO are such that the proportion of CaO is more than the proportion of Al2O3 and the proportion of MgO, the proportion of Al2O3 being 3 to 30 wt %, the proportion of CaO being 35 to 60 wt %, and the proportion of MgO is 3 to 30 wt %,
wherein the aluminum compound is aluminum hydroxide, and
wherein the aluminum compound, the calcium compound, and the magnesium compound exist in a state of a mixture thereof without any chemical change such that the additive is capable of maintaining a pH of 4.0 or more for 60 minutes or more as antacid-characteristics by modified Fuchs method.
