1. A photoelectric conversion element comprising:
an anode;
a cathode; and
a photoelectric conversion layer disposed between the anode and the cathode,
wherein the photoelectric conversion layer contains a first organic compound and a second organic compound, the oxidation potential of the first organic compound is lower than the oxidation potential of the second organic compound, ΔE denoted by formula (A) below satisfies formula (B) below,
ΔE=oxidation potential of first organic compound−reduction potential of second organic compound (A)
ΔE≥1.5 [V] (B)
and the first organic compound is denoted by formula [28] below,
