1. A user equipment, comprising:
at least one processor; and
at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the user equipment, at least to:
support a first reception mode with only one receive (Rx) branch and a second reception mode with at least two Rx branches, wherein the user equipment supports both reception modes on a same frequency band;
detect, from a network node associated with a cell, a first barring indication associated with the first reception mode and a second barring indication associated with the second reception mode, wherein the first barring indication indicates that the cell is barred and the second barring indication indicates that the cell is not barred, or vice versa; and
determine whether or not the cell is barred for the user equipment based on the supported reception modes on the frequency band and at least one of the first barring indication and the second barring indication, wherein
when the first barring indication indicates that the cell is not barred and the user equipment supports the first reception mode on the frequency band, the cell is determined to be not barred and the second barring indication is ignored, or
when the second barring indication indicates that the cell is not barred and the user equipment supports the second reception mode on the frequency band, the cell is determined to be not barred and the first barring indication is ignored.
