1. A non-transitory machine-readable media including instructions that, when executed, perform a method for requesting a second user to provide a current location, the method comprising:
receiving, from a first computing system associated with a first user, a location request, wherein the location request including an identifier for a second user and location data for a point of interest;
sending the location request to-a second computing system associated with a second user;
receiving, in response to the location request, location data from the second computing system;
determining that the location data from the second computing system matches the location data for the point of interest;
receiving an approval response of the location request from the second user for the point of interest; and
responsive to determining that the location data from the second computing system matches the location data for the point of interest, providing, for display at a user interface of the first computing system, a representation of the second user and the point of interest.
