1. A computer-implemented method for use in provisioning identity credentials to a user based on interactions with at least one verified user, the method comprising:
receiving, by a computing device associated with an identity provider, a request for a digital identity from a communication device of a user, the request including identifying information for the user;
transmitting, by the computing device, to each of multiple communication devices of verified users, an attestation request for the user, each of the attestation requests including at least a portion of the identifying information for the user, the attestation requests including a first attestation request and a second attestation request, wherein the at least a portion of the identifying information included in the first attestation request is different than the at least a portion of the identifying information included in the second attestation request;
receiving, by the computing device, from ones of the multiple communication devices of the verified users, attestation responses to at least the first and second attestation requests, each of the attestation responses including an attestation of the respective at least a portion of the identifying information for the user included in said attestation request;
determining, by the computing device, whether a number of the attestation responses satisfies an attestation threshold;
in response to determining that the number of the attestation responses satisfies the attestation threshold, generating the digital identity for the user, which includes the at least a portion of the identifying information attested to by the verified users; and
sharing a digital identity notice with the user, at the communication device of the user, the digital identity notice including an identifier for the user, whereby the user is permitted to share the digital identity with a relying party via the identifier.
