1. An apparatus comprising:
a memory storing instructions; and
one or more processing devices configured to execute the instructions to perform operations comprising:
receiving, from a remote device, scheduling information for slots of a frame structure, each slot including a physical resource block (PRB), wherein each slot of the frame structure occupies a frequency bandwidth and an associated time in the frame structure, the scheduling information indicating a transmission direction for each slot of the frame structure, a number of PRBs for downlink (DL) reception that are changed from respective uplink slots, and PRB offset value from a start PRB for each of the PRBs for downlink reception; and
based on the scheduling information, determining a transmission direction for a slot of the frame structure as being an UL slot or a DL slot operating in cross division duplex (XDD) mode.
