1. A bidirectional solid state circuit breaker (SSCB) comprising: a main SSCB circuit configured to be connected between a three-phase alternating current (AC) power supply and a load, the main SSCB circuit comprising first and second semiconductor switches connected in series for each of three phases of the three-phase AC power supply, and a single snubber circuit having a first end connected to a first end of the first semiconductor switch and a second end connected to a second end of the second semiconductor switch for all of the three phases, the single snubber circuit comprising a capacitor and a transient voltage suppressor (TVS) connected in series.
