1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
generating, by a transportation matching system, a first predicted provider-requester device gap for a first geographic region and a second predicted provider-requester device gap for a second geographic region;
generating, by the transportation matching system from the first predicted provider-requester device gap utilizing a predictive request model that generates provider incentive metrics from provider-requester gaps, a first provider incentive metric for the first geographic region indicating a first triggering incentive to increase provider device activity to cover the first predicted provider-requester device gap;
generating, by the transportation matching system from the second predicted provider-requester device gap utilizing the predictive request model, a second provider incentive metric for the second geographic region indicating a second triggering incentive to increase provider device activity to cover the second predicted provider-requester device gap; and
providing, for display via a user interface of provider device:
a first indicator of the first triggering incentive for the first geographic region; and
a second indicator of the second triggering incentive for the second geographic region.
