1. A computer implemented method of operating a gaming system, the method comprising:
determining that a first event has been triggered on a first electronic gaming machine (“EGM”); and
responsive to determining that the first event has been triggered on the first EGM, causing a probability of triggering a second event on a second EGM to be adjusted based on a proximity of the second EGM to the first EGM.
