1. A method, for a computer, of processing information related to a distributed item, the method comprising:
generating, by at least one processor, attachment information that is associated with history information accumulated for the distributed item and is to be distributed along with the distributed item; and
acquiring, by the at least one processor, (i) a reference request from a requester terminal for a reference to the history information using the attachment information attached to the distributed item and (ii) requester information containing at least location data of the requester terminal that made the reference request;
transmitting the acquired requester information to a data management device to accumulate the requester information in a history database of the data management device;
detecting, by the at least one processor, a plurality of reference requests from different requesters for the distributed item within a predetermined time, the plurality of reference requests from different requesters being determined based on the location data of the requester terminal;
comparing, by the at least one processor, the number of the plurality of reference requests received in the predetermined time from different requesters to a threshold; and
determining, by the at least one processor, the existence of an anomaly and that the distributed item is a duplicated item in response to determining that the number of the plurality of reference requests received in the predetermined time is equal to or greater than the threshold.
