1. A nanoscaled construct, said construct comprising or essentially consisting of a nucleic acid structure and at least two separate metallic nanoparticles coupled with said nucleic acid structure,
wherein said at least two separate metallic nanoparticles are at an interchangeable angle to each other,
wherein said at least two separate metallic nanoparticles provide chirality and/or optical activity within the visible and near-infrared (NIR) spectrum from 400 to 800 nm generating a color for the construct,
wherein said construct has an absorption dissymmetry factor (g-factor) of over 10%,
wherein said nucleic acid structure comprises a switchable bridge structure, wherein said angle is adjusted by the open and closed positions of said bridge structure,
wherein the adjustment between the open and closed positions of said switchable bridge structure changes color generation properties of the construct,
wherein the length of said switchable bridge structure affects the color generated by said construct in a closed position of said bridge structure, and
wherein said switchable bridge structure comprises a recognition element, which is specific to a target analyte, and the open and closed positions of said switchable bridge structure are switched due to the presence or absence of said target analyte.
