1. A method of providing navigation instructions to a service vehicle and navigating the service vehicle on a service route for collecting waste or recyclable material, the method comprising:
collecting GPS location information for the service vehicle;
tracking a location of the service vehicle using the GPS location information;
projecting the GPS location information to a street network map;
navigating the service vehicle by providing on-street navigation instructions to the service vehicle before the service vehicle enters a customer property;
determining, using a computing device, that the service vehicle has entered the customer property based on a distance between the GPS location information for the service vehicle prior to entering a customer location and the projection of the GPS location information to the street network map, wherein the determining comprises designating an entry location for the customer property when the distance between the GPS location information for the service vehicle and the projection of the GPS location information to the street network map is greater than a predefined threshold amount;
after determining that the service vehicle has entered the customer property, navigating the service vehicle, for the service vehicle to collect waste or recyclable material from one or more waste or recycling containers, by providing navigation instructions to the service vehicle on the customer property using off-street data accessed from a storage module, wherein the off-street data comprises a travel path for the service vehicle on the customer property and a location of the one or more waste or recycling containers to be serviced on the customer property;
determining, using the computing device, when the service vehicle has exited the customer property based on a distance between the GPS location information for the service vehicle after entering the customer location and the projection of the GPS location information to the street network map, wherein the determining comprises designating an exit location for the customer property when the distance between the GPS location information for the service vehicle and the projection of the GPS location information to the street network map is less than the predefined threshold amount; and
after determining that the service vehicle has exited the customer property, navigating the service vehicle by providing on-street navigation instructions to the service vehicle after the service vehicle exits the customer property.
