1. A binding machine, comprising;
a housing part that is configured to house a wire reel around which a wire is wound;
a feeding part that is configured to feed the wire housed in the housing part;
a feeding motor that is configured to drive the feeding part;
a guide part that is configured to curl the wire fed by the feeding part;
a twisting part that is configured to twist the wire curled by the guide part:
a twisting motor that is configured to drive the twisting part;
a binding machine main body that houses the feeding part, the feeding motor and the twisting motor and that is provided with the housing part;
a transmission part that connects the twisting motor with the twisting part and that is configured to transmit driving force of the twisting motor to the twisting part;
a guiding path that is configured to guide the wire fed by the feeding part to the guide part; and
a long connection part that is provided between the binding machine main body and the guide part and that houses the transmission part and the guiding path, wherein
the long connection part has:
in a long-length direction, a first length which is equal to or longer than one third of a length of the binding machine main body in the long-length direction;
in a short-length direction, a second length which is equal to or shorter than a length of the binding machine main body in the short-length direction; and
in a direction orthogonal to the long-length and short-length directions, a third length which is equal to or shorter than one half of a length of the binding machine main body in the direction orthogonal to the long-length and short-length directions,
the long connection part includes which extends in the long-length direction and which is at least partly formed to be flat and formed with a retracting part which has a concave shape provided between the binding machine main body and the guide part, the concave shape reducing the length of the long connection part in the short-length direction.
