1. A communication system comprising:
a first communication device configured to be connected to an operating device mounted on a human-powered vehicle;
a second communication device configured to be connected to a transmission device of the human-powered vehicle;
a third communication device configured to be connected to a component that is mounted on the human-powered vehicle and that differs from the operating device and the transmission device, the component including a motor unit configured to impart propulsion to the human-powered vehicle; and
a control device connected to at least the third communication device and the component,
the second communication device being configured to wirelessly receive first information that is sent from the first communication device in response to a first operation of the operating device, the first information including information for controlling the motor unit, and
the third communication device being configured to wirelessly receive second information that includes at least some of the first information sent from the second communication device, the at least some of the first information including the information for controlling the motor unit when the first operation has been performed,
the operating device including a shift operating device configured to output a signal including information for controlling the transmission device in accordance with a second operation of the operating device by a user,
the control device being configured to control the motor unit in accordance with the information for controlling the motor unit when the second information has been received and the second information includes the information for controlling the motor unit, and the control device being configured not to control the motor unit when the second information has been received and the second information does not include the information for controlling the motor unit.
