1. A centering device, comprising:
a base having a pair of rails;
a first jaw assembly operably engaged with the base, wherein the first jaw assembly is configured to move longitudinally along extensions of the pair of rails of the base;
a second jaw assembly operably engaged with the base, wherein the second jaw assembly is opposed to the first jaw assembly, and wherein the second jaw assembly is configured to move longitudinally along the extensions of the pair of rails of the base;
an actuation assembly operably engaged with the base, the first jaw assembly, and the second jaw assembly; and
a drive assembly operably engaged with the first jaw assembly, the drive assembly having:
a half-nut operably engaged with and positioned inside of a chamber defined between uprights of the pair of rails of the base and vertically below the extensions of the pair of rails that extend outwardly from the uprights; and
a driving member operably engaged with the first jaw assembly and operably engageable with the half-nut inside of the base;
wherein the drive assembly is operable to move the first jaw assembly longitudinally along the base;
wherein the movement of the first jaw assembly longitudinally along the pair of rails of the base activates the actuation assembly; and
wherein the second jaw assembly is caused to move longitudinally along the pair of rails of the base via the actuation assembly.
