1. A method for making a fibrous structure, the method comprising the step of supplying a plurality of solid additives from a discretizer comprising a housing, one or more cross flow members and a rotor movable within the housing, wherein the housing comprises a discharge outlet having a discharge area of a discharge plane oriented at a discharge angle of greater than 20° and two or more inserts and at least two of the two or more inserts creates cross machine-direction (CD) walls between the discharge area and the rotor that are non-parallel with each other; which discretizes a plurality of solid additives from a source of solid additives during operation to make a fibrous structure;
wherein the discharge area of the discharge outlet is equal to or less than the rotor's projected area upon the discharge plane.
