A method for administration of at least one pharmaceutical active substance comprising: providing an electrically conductive textile sheet comprising a fabric, a knitted structure, a crocheted structure, a braided structure, a bi-directional or multi-directional fabric, a felt, or a fleece of fibers, in which a plurality of electrically conductive fibers are in contact with one another, the electrically conductive textile sheet being provided with electrical contacts to provide an electrically heatable plaster having a self-adhesive skin contact layer comprising at least one pharmaceutical active substance, wherein the electronically conductive textile sheet constitutes the rear layer of the plaster, and including a step of applying the electrically heatable plaster to the skin of a mammal.
