1. An X-ray imaging system, comprising:
an optical camera configured to acquire an optical image of a body part of a patient;
an X-ray imaging device configured to acquire an X-ray image of the body part of the patient;
a processor configured to determine an orientation of the body part based on the optical image and the X-ray image, wherein the X-ray image is used to aid in processing the optical image by selecting which part of the optical image of the body part is to be processed in order to determine the orientation, and wherein the processor is configured to annotate the X-ray image with the orientation; and
a display configured to output the annotated X-ray image only.
