1. An apparatus for measuring blood glucose level, comprising:
a light source configured to irradiate light to a subject;
a monochrome part configured to separate wavelength components of the light that is reflected and scattered from the subject;
a light receiver configured to receive the light transmitted via the monochrome part and generates electrical signals representative of a Raman spectrum based on the received light; and
a processor configured to extract information on the blood glucose level of the subject based on the Raman spectrum,
wherein the processor is configured to perform a calibration by:
controlling the light source to irradiate the light at a predetermined output for a predetermined duration; and
determining an intensity and an exposure duration for the light to be irradiated by the light source to subsequently measure the blood glucose level of the subject based on a peak corresponding to a specific Raman shift of the Raman spectrum acquired via the light receiver during the calibration.
