1. A spinal construct comprising:
a receiver comprising spaced apart first and second arms defining an implant cavity therebetween, the arms each including a first surface and a second surface that define a notch, the notches each extending into a proximal end surface of one of the arms;
a cap comprising a body and opposite wings extending from the body, the wings each being configured for insertion into one of the notches, the wings each including a third surface and a fourth surface; and
a first flange extending from an inner surface of the first arm, the cap further comprising a second flange positioned between the wings;
wherein the first surfaces are each configured to engage one of the third surfaces to prevent rotation of the cap relative to the receiver in a first direction and the second surfaces are configured to engage one of the fourth surfaces such that an amount of force is required to overcome engagement between the second surfaces and the fourth surfaces and rotate the cap relative to the receiver in an opposite second direction; and
wherein the second flange is configured to engage the first flange after the amount of force is applied to rotate the cap relative to the receiver in the second direction.
