1. A server comprising:
a communications module;
a processor coupled to the communications module; and
a memory coupled to the processor, the memory storing processor-executable instructions which, when executed by the processor, configure the processor to:
provide, via the communications module and to a remote computing device, a chat interface to initiate a live chat session associated with a claim; and
within the live chat session:
send, via the communications module and to the remote computing device, video instructions for obtaining video data of a vehicle based on video data of the vehicle in an original state previously received from the remote computing device and stored in the memory, the video instructions for obtaining video data of the vehicle including a video that shows how to obtain video data of the vehicle to match the video data of the vehicle in the original state previously received from the remote computing device and stored in the memory;
receive, via the communications module and from the remote computing device, video data of the vehicle captured in accordance with the video instructions;
compare video data of the vehicle in the original state to video data of the vehicle captured in accordance with the video instructions to quantify an amount of damage to the vehicle; and
send a message that includes a numerical value based on the quantified amount of damage to the vehicle.
